Bethesda, MD (February 8, 2021)- MedStar Radiology Network (“MRN”), an outpatient diagnostic joint venture between MedStar Health and Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, is pleased to announce its acquisition of outpatient imaging centers in Rockville and Chevy Chase, Maryland, previously operated as Bethesda MRI. Bethesda MRI’s founder and longtime local radiologist Dr. Alexander “Sasha” Mark will remain very active in the operations of these locations as Medical Director.

With the Rockville and Chevy Chase acquisition, OIA now operates nine outpatient diagnostic service locations in Maryland and Washington D.C. on behalf of MedStar Health. OIA is the premier name in providing outsourced development, operations, marketing and billing services to hospitals, health systems and academic medical centers. OIA now operates fifty-seven outpatient imaging centers across the country.
