Fort Walton Beach, FL (November 8, 2021) – Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, LLC (“OIA”), a national owner and operator of outpatient imaging centers, announced today its acquisition of The Institute of Diagnostic Imaging, a full modality outpatient imaging center located in Fort Walton Beach, FL.  The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Institute of Diagnostic Imaging is conveniently located in the heart of the medical community in Fort Walton Beach and offers MR, CT, Ultrasound, Xray, Mammography and Dexa services.  IDI was founded and previously operated by Barry Riggs, MD.  Dr. Riggs had established IDI as the premier outpatient radiology destination in the area.

With the acquisition of IDI, OIA now operates fifty-four outpatient imaging center locations, in fifteen state, plus one Mobile PET/CT route servicing three additional locations.
