Decatur, AL (December 13, 2021) – Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, LLC (“OIA”), a national owner and operator of outpatient imaging centers, announced today its expansion in the Alabama market with the acquisition of The Imaging Center, LLC in Decatur, AL.  The Imaging Center will be rebranded Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Decatur and will be operating alongside OIA’s other Alabama locations in Huntsville, Athens and Madison.  The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Outpatient Diagnostic Center Decatur will continue to provide MR, CT, Ultrasound and Xray services to the local community.  The location was previously owned by Dr. Michael Jokich who built the business over the past decade and will continue to provide professional services to the community.

With the acquisition of The Imaging Center, OIA now operates fifty-five outpatient imaging center locations, in fifteen states, plus one Mobile PET/CT route servicing three additional locations.
