Amy Stout
President and CEO
Amy Stout was appointed President of OIA in 2022. Prior to joining OIA, she served as an Operating Partner at Cranemere, a financial holding company specializing in long-term investments, where she led their hospice initiatives.
Before Cranemere, Amy spent 20 years at the Advisory Board Company, a leading national provider of healthcare best practices, research, and technology. Her most recent role was serving as the CEO for Advisory Board Research (now a division of Optum). In this role, Amy had full P&L responsibilities for the business ($170M in rev), and directly oversaw strategy, operations, product development, sales and client management, and the building and maintenance of a talented leadership team and positive culture.
Amy earned a BS from the University of California at Santa Barbara and her MBA from Stanford University. Amy currently serves on the Board of Directors for NorthStar Anesthesia.
Andrew Kerr

Jeff Tumbleson
Chief Information Officer
Jeff Tumbleson has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare market. Prior to joining OIA, Jeff owned and operated an IT consulting company. His company provided a broad spectrum of information technology related services including; system integration, application development, and network design. He tailored the firm’s solutions to include support for the many IT related concerns surrounding HIPAA and other governmental regulations.
Prior to running his own business, Jeff was Vice President of Technology Solutions and CIO for Spheris, a health information management company. While with Spheris, he was instrumental in directing the company’s information technology division. Spheris (formerly Total eMed) revolutionized the industry by leveraging the internet as a means for delivering healthcare information to physicians in the acute-care market. The company’s solutions included applications for the web as well as popular handheld devices.
Prior to his tenure with Spheris, Jeff served as National Director of Support for MedQuist, the nation’s largest medical transcription company. Jeff headed the department responsible for supporting the company’s more than 350 customers and 3,500 remote medical transcriptionists. Jeff received his B.A. and a B.S. from the University of Kansas.
Michelle Pickering
Chief Experience Officer
Michelle Pickering joined OIA in 2023 as our Chief Experience Officer. Prior to joining OIA, she served as the Chief Executive Officer for Paradigm Health, a mid-size healthcare company specializing in hospice and palliative care.
Michelle brings over 15 years of healthcare experience predominantly in the post-acute and ancillary provider space. Her prior roles include COO/Operating partner for Cranemere, a long-term investment company, as well as Vice President of Operations for Bristol Hospice overseeing a majority of their transitional and acquired field platforms. She served as board President for various joint-venture partnerships with notable institutions such as Caremore/Anthem & Monarch/Optum. Michelle is a servant leader who advocates for both her internal and external customers with a heavy focus on a culture that exudes excellence and high-quality care.
Michelle earned her BA from the University of California at Los Angeles and currently serves on the Board of Directors for IDEAL for Healthcare.
Brandon Odom
Chief Compliance Officer
Brandon joined OIA in 2022 as Chief Compliance Officer and brings 15 years of healthcare compliance experience to the organization. Brandon provides leadership for all compliance and privacy program initiatives including incident management and remediation, policy and procedure development, auditing and monitoring, compliance risk assessment, annual training, regulatory oversight, and OIA’s Compliance Assurance Program.
Prior to OIA, Brandon served in executive compliance leadership roles for some of the largest healthcare systems in the country including HCA Healthcare, Community Health Systems, and Prime Healthcare.
Brandon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Administration with a concentration in Health Policy from Auburn University.
Paul Claus
Sr. Vice President of Operations
Paul serves as the Sr. Vice President of Operations; he has over 20 years of clinical and operational management experience in radiology with both hospital and free standing imaging centers. Prior to Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, Mr. Claus served as the Administrative Director of Radiology for Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Florida Hospital Oceanside and Florida Hospital Flagler.
Paul holds a Bachelors degree in Radiologic Science from the University of Central Florida, MBA from Mississippi State, (CRA) designation as Certified Radiology Administrator, and ARRT registered technologist with advanced registry in CT.
Matthew McConnell
Sr. Vice President of Information Technology
Matt McConnell joined OIA in 2014 and was named Sr. Vice President of Information Technology in June 2024. Matt currently provides leadership for IT Operations across the organization as well as technology roadmaps, business continuity, security, and compliance. Matt continues to focus on providing value-based technology solutions designed to solve the unique challenges of the outpatient diagnostic imaging market.
Prior to joining OIA, Matt was responsible for several large-scale clinical integration initiatives focused on strengthening healthcare provider relationships in the ambulatory and acute care settings for LifePoint Health.
Matt earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration and Bachelors of Science in Management Information Systems from Tennessee Technological University.
Creighton Cook
VP of Business Development
Creighton Cook joined OIA in February 2005. Before OIA, Mr. Cook was Sales Director of the Compliance Resource Group, a division of AIM Healthcare, where his responsibilities focused on provider side compliance issues. During his tenure at AIM Healthcare, Creighton successfully managed regional rollouts of three such compliance tools – a first of its kind internet based solution to track and manage a healthcare provider’s credentialing and privileging responsibilities, a unique provider based coding compliance solution for Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology procedures, and a contract enforcement and revenue recovery solution for underpaid managed care commitments.
Prior to OIA, Mr. Cook worked for Dun & Bradstreet Receivable Management Services where he managed large regional and national accounts. He was the only field based representative ever to be appointed by senior management to serve on the prestigious Dun & Bradstreet President’s Marketing Council.
Mr. Cook completed his undergraduate work at the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration, University of Alabama where he received his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. In 2009, he completed his Masters of Business Administration from Mississippi State University.
Stephen Harris
VP Controller
Stephen Harris comes to OIA with more than two decades of healthcare experience. He recently served as Vice President, Corporate Controller at Inception Fertility where he led the company’s Accounting, Accounts Payable and Payroll departments. Prior to that, Stephen spent 18 years with AMSURG, the ambulatory care division of Envision Healthcare, in a variety of financial leadership roles including Vice President, Division Controller.
Stephen earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from East Tennessee State University and his Master of Business Administration in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University.
Kym Baker
VP of Human Resources
Kym Baker has led the OIA Human Resources Department since 2011. Kym is passionate about driving organizational success through high-performing teams and thriving culture. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and her Master of Science in Leadership and Human Resources Development from Louisiana State University. She is dual certified as both a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
